HR Consultant Job Vacancy at Hollywoodbets – Port Elizabeth, Eastern Cape, November 2025

Hollywoodbets is seeking an HR Consultant to provide comprehensive support in workforce planning, succession planning, and Industrial Relations.

Key Responsibilities

• Recruitment and Selection: Manage recruitment up to middle management level, draft adverts, shortlist candidates, coordinate interviews, conduct pre-employment checks, and ensure accurate onboarding documentation.
• Onboarding: Oversee induction and integration of new hires.
• Performance Management: Facilitate performance evaluations, coach managers, manage performance agreements, and address poor performance.
• Talent Management / Succession Planning: Identify talent, implement retention strategies, support career development, and close skills gaps.
• Employment Equity: Facilitate EE meetings and ensure equity in recruitment, transfers, and promotions.
• Industrial Relations: Implement IR practices, schedule hearings, manage CCMA cases, and monitor regional warnings.
• Injury on Duty: Manage IOD process and claims follow-up.
• Terminations: Communicate and conduct exit interviews, identify trends, and advise management.
• Reporting: Prepare monthly and consolidated HR reports.
• Communication: Ensure HR policies, procedures, and strategic campaigns are communicated effectively.
• Values & Ethics: Promote Hollywoodbets values and lead by example.

Requirements

• Valid driver’s license.
• 2–3 years’ experience in an HR Consultant or equivalent role.
• Knowledge of Labour Legislation (EE Act, BCEA, Labour Relations Act) advantageous.
• Diploma/Degree qualification or studying toward one advantageous.
• Strong attention to detail, problem-solving skills, accountability, relationship management, and results-driven.
