We are seeking a Process Engineer who will play a critical role in shaping and optimizing the business processes that enable operational excellence and customer satisfaction across the insurance value chain.


Role Overview

The Process Engineer is responsible for managing new and existing projects, taking a holistic view to ensure that the business delivers future-ready process automation, operational efficiency, and exceptional customer outcomes. Acting as a vital link between business and IT, this role requires working across multiple projects to design, develop, and implement innovative process solutions.


Key Responsibilities

Process Design & Implementation

  • Define, develop, and support the implementation of process automation strategies and solutions to drive efficiency and excellence.
  • Design and manage process flows according to BPMN 2.0 standards.
  • Translate business requirements into clear technical and functional specifications using methodologies such as DMAIC and Process Decomposition.
  • Identify key process metrics, define data capture methods, and support ROI assessments.
  • Collaborate with product owners to monitor benefit realization.

Technical & Analytical Support

  • Work closely with data architects to define data flows, transformations, and interface requirements.
  • Develop quick-win solutions using MS Office tools and implement minor system enhancements independently.
  • Build and maintain performance dashboards and metrics using Power BI and SQL.
  • Support cross-functional solution design incorporating workflows, databases, and robotic process automation.

Change Management & Implementation

  • Facilitate workshops with business users to gather requirements, validate designs, and manage rollout activities.
  • Support testing processes and assist business teams in developing test cases and validation scenarios.
  • Provide troubleshooting and incident resolution support during implementation and post-deployment phases.
  • Conduct impact analyses and prioritize issues based on business severity.

Continuous Improvement

  • Recommend and implement process optimization and system improvements.
  • Ensure compliance with governance, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Promote a culture of innovation and continuous learning within the business and project teams.

Collaboration & Knowledge Sharing

  • Foster strong relationships with key stakeholders across departments.
  • Share best practices, process knowledge, and technical insights to improve service delivery.
  • Support professional growth and knowledge transfer among colleagues and project partners.

Experience, Knowledge & Skills Required

  • 3–5 years’ experience in process engineering and implementation.
  • 3 years’ experience in workflow or digital process design.
  • Experience in the insurance industry preferred.
  • Strong understanding of project management and software development life cycles.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio.
  • Technical expertise in Power BI and SQL (data extraction, design, dashboards).
  • Basic programming knowledge (language agnostic).
  • Strong problem-solving ability, resilience, and adaptability under pressure.
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver high-quality results.
