Role Overview
As a Sales Manager, you will lead and inspire a team of teleconsultants to deliver exceptional service and drive sales performance. This role is pivotal in helping clients achieve financial security and peace of mind, while upholding Old Mutual’s 175-year legacy of Integrity, Professionalism, and Putting the Customer First.
You will be responsible for managing sales performance, fostering a culture of compliance and excellence, and ensuring consistent delivery of high-quality customer interactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage a team of teleconsultants to achieve sales and business objectives.
- Coach, support, and develop team members to become confident, competent sales professionals.
- Implement and execute distribution strategies for products across the branch/team.
- Identify and create coordinated sales opportunities through teamwork and collaboration.
- Manage sales and expense budgets against set targets.
- Ensure superior service delivery and time management within the team.
Requirements
- Matric (Grade 12) – required.
- Minimum 12 months of sales management experience.
- Experience in a sales call centre environment.
- RE5 certification is an advantage.
- Clear criminal and credit record.
- Proficient in MS Office suite.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
