This role provides advice on a specific range of products to an allocated market, with individual accountability for achieving results through your own efforts.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Handle standard customer service activities and respond to simple inquiries.
- Receive visitors, provide information, and refer complex matters to colleagues.
Solutions Analysis
- Assess compliance with established standards and protocols for routine inquiries.
Customer Relationship Management (CRM)
- Ensure customer data is accurate in the system.
- Document follow-up actions and record outcomes of sales interactions.
Customer Needs Clarification
- Interview customers using a multi-level sales script to clarify requirements.
Customer Relationship Development / Prospecting
- Reach out to potential customers via phone or in person to develop relationships.
- Act as the first point of contact for resolving queries and complaints.
Operational Compliance
- Follow mandatory procedures to ensure quality standards and regulatory adherence.
Business Development
- Assist with routine business development tasks and support colleagues.
Sales Opportunities Creation
- Identify potential customers through referrals, recommendations, and existing contacts.
Data Exploration
- Collect and input relevant data into spreadsheets or standard formats.
Network of Influence
- Participate in and contribute to a network of people, technologies, and ideas both inside and outside the company.
