The Role: Assistant Storeman — The Essential Support

As the Assistant Storeman, you’ll be working alongside the Storeman, providing crucial support for all day-to-day store operations. Your efficiency and reliability will ensure our inventory moves smoothly and our workspace stays organized.

Your Key Responsibilities and Duties:

• Logistics Support: Directly assist with the loading and off-loading of trucks.
• Organisation: Help to keep the work area clean and organised to maintain a safe and efficient environment.
• Inventory Control: Support the team with monthly stock takes and inventory checks.
• Flexibility: Be prepared to work overtime when required to meet operational demands.
• General Duties: Perform other essential general store duties as needed.

What You Need to Bring to the Warehouse

We’re looking for a hard worker who is ready to be a dependable member of our team.

Qualifications and Skills:

• Education: Matric / Grade 12 is essential.
• Physical Ability: Must be physically fit and able to perform manual work.
• Character: Be honest, reliable, and a team player.
• Communication: Possess good communication skills.
• Advantageous: A Driver’s License (Code 08) would be an advantage.
