We are looking for a Marketer to join our team in George. Your role will be to represent AFGRI Equipment by marketing Club Car and refurbished Turf Equipment. You’ll be the go-to person for golf courses and estates in the area, helping them find the perfect solutions for their needs. This isn’t just about making sales; it’s about building lasting client relationships and becoming a trusted partner in the industry.

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Marketer, you will be the face of AFGRI Equipment, creating awareness and a strong preference for our products. Your responsibilities will be diverse and hands-on, covering everything from sales to customer service.

A day in your life could include:

• Building Relationships: You’ll visit golf courses and estates to assess their needs, introduce them to our product range, and build strong, trusting client relationships.
• Driving Sales: You will be responsible for the entire sales process, from demonstrating our Club Car products to potential customers to closing the deal.
• Marketing and Promotions: You’ll manage the marketing function for your region, including organizing product demonstrations, attending shows, and participating in golf days.
• Administration and Reporting: You will handle all the necessary administration and reporting to ensure all aspects of your sales process are well-documented and managed.

Is This You?

We are looking for a skilled professional with a deep understanding of the golf and equipment industries. The ideal candidate is a great communicator and a natural at networking and negotiating.

You will have:

• Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in business, sales, or marketing within the golf industry. Experience marketing golf cars and turf equipment is a strong advantage.
• Education: A Grade 12 certificate is required. A relevant tertiary qualification in Business Administration, Sales, or Marketing would be beneficial.
• Skills: You must have a valid driver’s license and be comfortable traveling and working in various environmental conditions. Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and listening skills are essential. You should also have solid technical knowledge of AFGRI equipment and the ability to work independently.
