We are looking for a dedicated Warehouse Inbound Controller to join our technical production team in Alrode, Gauteng. This is a permanent position for a candidate who can take full ownership of our inbound processes, from receiving stock to optimizing our inventory and service levels.


What You’ll Be Doing

As the Warehouse Inbound Controller, you’ll be at the heart of our operations, ensuring all inbound stock is managed with precision and efficiency. Your work will directly impact our inventory and overall service levels.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Receiving and Processing: You’ll be responsible for the receiving of all supplier and inter-plant stock, and will process delivery notes and purchase orders on SAP with meticulous accuracy.
  • Inventory Management: You’ll ensure all received products are checked and receipted onto the system daily. You’ll also take on the strategic management of inventory by coaching on best practices, conducting audits on stock accuracy, and reporting on slow-moving stock.
  • Auditing and Compliance: You will audit our inbound inventory management processes to ensure full compliance and strict adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles.
  • Cycle Counts: You’ll be responsible for the execution of physical inventory counts, including daily cycle counts and monthly and year-end counts.
  • Process Optimization: You’ll spend time in the warehouses, coaching teams, and recommending improved processes to ensure everything runs smoothly and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience in a warehouse environment, preferably in a manufacturing or FMCG industry. Working experience on SAP would be a significant advantage.
  • Education: A completed Matric certificate is a must.
  • Mindset: You should have a passion for inventory and stock management processes, with a keen eye for detail. You must be able to work independently and take full ownership of your role.
