As an Area Manager, you’ll be at the forefront of our mission to deliver integrated workplace management solutions that help our clients reduce costs and complexities.


What You’ll Do

As an Area Manager, you’ll be responsible for a wide range of duties, from client management to financial oversight. Key responsibilities include:

  • Operational Leadership: You will manage and oversee all cleaning and hygiene operations, ensuring that resources are best allocated to meet client demands and service level agreements (SLAs).
  • Team Management: You will be responsible for labor management, including staff scheduling, monitoring biometrics, and ensuring adherence to company disciplinary codes. You’ll lead a large team, fostering a high standard of morale and motivation.
  • Client Relations: You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with clients, conducting regular site visits and meetings to ensure their needs are met.
  • Financial Oversight: You will manage unit finances, ensuring each site operates within budgetary guidelines. You’ll also be responsible for compiling accurate budgets and forecasts and taking corrective action on any problematic areas.
  • Health and Safety: You will ensure strict adherence to all Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.

Who We’re Looking For

We are seeking a seasoned professional with a deep understanding of the industry and a knack for people management. The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience at a middle-management level in a similar environment. Experience in the bakery or hospitality industry is highly advantageous. You should also be comfortable managing large teams and a large client portfolio.
  • Qualifications: At a minimum, you should have a Matric certificate or relevant experience. A relevant tertiary qualification is highly advantageous.
  • Skills: You must have a valid driver’s license and your own reliable vehicle. You should possess a solid understanding of business management principles and proven financial skills. Strong people skills, a knowledge of industrial relations, and excellent communication skills are a must.
