We’re looking for a Junior Revenue Analyst to become a key player in our Revenue Forecasting and Analysis unit. This role is ideal for an individual with a strong quantitative background who is ready to apply their skills to deliver advanced predictive modeling and data analytics. You’ll be helping to inform revenue planning and compliance strategies within the Large Business and International (LBI) segment.
What You’ll Do: Your Key Responsibilities
As a Revenue Analyst, you’ll be at the heart of our data-driven operations. Your work will provide strategic insights and actionable intelligence to support critical decision-making.
- Lead Data Initiatives: You’ll coordinate data collection, validation, and integration across multiple business units, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Conduct Advanced Analysis: You’ll perform advanced trend and scenario analysis to inform strategic planning and policy formulation.
- Develop Forecasting Models: You’ll lead the development and implementation of forecasting models and analytics frameworks for revenue estimation.
- Drive Continuous Improvement: You’ll identify risks and opportunities through data-driven insights, recommend mitigation strategies, and automate manual processes to enhance efficiency.
- Ensure Data Integrity: You’ll ensure the confidentiality and integrity of sensitive taxpayer and financial data.
Who We’re Looking For: Skills and Experience
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical professional with a proven track record of applying data-driven methods to solve complex problems.
- Education and Experience: A relevant Bachelor’s degree (NQF Level 7) in a quantitative field like Mathematics, Statistics, Actuarial Science, or Data Analytics is required. You should have 5–7 years of experience in an analytical and technical environment, with a strong focus on data-driven approaches. Alternatively, a Senior Certificate (NQF Level 4) with 10 years of experience in a similar role will also be considered.
- Key Skills: We’re looking for expertise in advanced data analytics and forecasting techniques, financial analysis, economic research, and scenario modeling. You should be proficient in statistical tools and data visualization platforms.
- Competencies: You should have strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and a high degree of honesty and integrity. You’ll also need to be a great communicator who can build productive relationships with peers and team members.
