What You’ll Be Doing

As a Project Manager, you will be responsible for defining project plans and ensuring they are executed with precision and a commitment to best practices. Your key responsibilities will include:

• Project Leadership: You’ll lead the project team, act as the primary contact for the customer, and serve as an escalation point for any project issues.
• Execution & Control: You’ll oversee all project activities, including planning, monitoring progress, managing resources, and controlling project financials, from invoicing to cash flow.
• Risk Management: You’ll identify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks to ensure smooth execution and timely delivery.
• Stakeholder Management: You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with all stakeholders, from customers to internal teams.
• Logistics & On-Site Supervision: You’ll supervise the shipment and transport of transformers to the customer site and oversee the installation process.
• Compliance: You’ll ensure every project complies with company health, safety, and environmental policies, as well as external and internal regulations.

What You’ll Bring to the Team

The ideal candidate for this role is a results-oriented individual with a strong background in project management within the energy or transformer manufacturing industry.

• Experience: You should have more than 5-10 years of experience in Project Management or Project Controlling, specifically in a transformer manufacturing industry. Experience with project management in the energy sector or substations is also required.
• Education: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical/Energy Engineering is a must. A PMP Certificate is a distinct advantage.
• Skills: You must have knowledge of MS Office and MS Project. Basic knowledge of SAP is beneficial. You should have the ability to read technical drawings and documentation, and have excellent communication and negotiation skills. Knowledge of various contracts like NEC3 and FIDIC is also required.
