Your Mission: Drive Growth and Forge New Partnerships
We’re looking for a commercially savvy New Business Consultant to join our team in Gauteng. This mid-level, permanent role is for a self-starter who excels at selling technology solutions. You’ll be the engine of our growth, identifying and securing new opportunities within the retail and fintech sectors.
If you have experience selling payment technologies, loyalty solutions, or digital value-added services, you’ll be a great fit. You’ll be responsible for the full sales cycle, from prospecting and lead generation to negotiating and closing deals.
What You’ll Do
- Prospect and Lead Generation: Hunt for new business and build a robust pipeline using various tools and techniques.
- Client Engagement: Build and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers.
- Sales Presentations: Craft and deliver compelling proposals that showcase the value of our solutions.
- Negotiation and Closing: Confidently negotiate contracts and close deals to meet your sales targets.
- Market Analysis: Stay on top of industry trends and competitor activity to inform our strategy.
- Collaboration: Work seamlessly with internal teams to ensure a smooth transition from sale to service delivery.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: At least 3 years in a sales or business development role with a proven track record of hitting sales targets.
- Skills: Strong communication, excellent time management, and a high level of self-motivation. You should be proficient with CRM software and the Microsoft Office Suite.
- Attributes: You’re resilient, persistent, and comfortable working both independently and as part of a team.
- Bonus Points: Experience in the payments and retail industry is a definite advantage! You must also have a valid driver’s license and be willing to travel.
