Your Key Responsibilities

As a Banking Officer, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure the smooth and accurate flow of financial operations. Your key duties will include:

• Financial Administration: You’ll handle the receipt of operator accounts, assist with error correction, and verify the status of balances.
• Reconciliation & Payments: You will be responsible for processing payments and conducting reconciliations to ensure all transactions are accurate.
• Internal Controls: You will play a crucial role in maintaining strong internal controls and managing document storage for future use.
• Problem-Solving: You’ll help control wasted Face Value Certificates and assist with other operational challenges.

Requirements

• Qualifications: A Grade 12 / NQF 4 (Post Matric Certificate) is required. An NQF 6 Diploma in Accounting is ideal.
• Experience: You must have a minimum of 1 year of experience as a cashier or in a banking role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Pastel Evolution, data capturing, and general computer literacy are essential. You should also be skilled in planning, organizing, and reconciliation.
• Behavioral Skills: We are looking for someone with excellent communication skills, a focus on customer service, and a strong ability to work in a team environment.
