A Day in the Life of a Customer Service Consultant

As a key member of our Call Centre Department, you’ll be the first point of contact for our customers. Your role is crucial for ensuring a high level of satisfaction and compliance.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Handling Calls: You’ll manage both inbound and outbound calls, addressing customer inquiries and proactively handling requests for source of funds documents.
  • Ensuring Compliance: You will be responsible for verifying and requesting source of funds documents, ensuring all processes strictly follow the bank’s compliance guidelines, especially Anti-Money Laundering (AML) and Know Your Customer (KYC) regulations.
  • Customer Service Excellence: You will maintain a high level of professionalism and provide exceptional service in all interactions to ensure customer loyalty.
  • Client Authentication: You will authenticate customers when they change their banking information, following strict security protocols to protect their data. This includes a two-part verification process via both voice and video calls.
  • Ticket Management: You will manage and prioritize your daily tickets, ensuring timely follow-up with customers and accurately capturing all information into the bank’s ticketing system.

What We’re Looking For

This is an entry-level position, and we are looking for candidates who are eager to learn and grow.

Minimum Requirements

  • A Matric Certificate.
  • Computer and mobile literacy.

Key Skills and Experience (Advantageous)

  • The ability to speak multiple languages is a significant advantage.
  • Prior experience in customer service.
  • A customer service qualification.
  • Knowledge of CRM Bank, OS ticket, and Core Banking systems.
