What Does This Role Entail?

As the Partnership Development Lead, you will be a key player in building business cooperation with our smartphone brand partners (Original Equipment Manufacturers, or OEMs). Your deep knowledge of the smartphone industry, combined with your business acumen and negotiation skills, will be critical to establishing PayJoy as the go-to financing partner for OEMs. You’ll be instrumental in driving sales and expanding our reach.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Strategic Partnership: Establish PayJoy as the preferred smartphone financing partner for OEMs in the region, negotiating and closing agreements to elevate our collaboration.
• Trusted Advisor: Become a trusted expert to our OEM partners, advising them on how smartphone financing can be a powerful tool to drive their sales.
• Negotiate & Analyze: Negotiate marketing deals and measure the ROI of initiatives to ensure their effectiveness.
• Support P&L Goals: Work closely with PayJoy’s regional leadership to support their quarterly P&L goals, particularly as they relate to OEM management.

Are You the Right Fit?

We’re looking for a professional with at least 10 years of experience in the smartphone industry. This experience could be with an Android OEM, a telco carrier, or a large retailer. You must have a strong track record of initiating and successfully concluding business negotiations and growing partnerships between companies.
