National Brands Limited (NBL), a subsidiary of AVI Limited, is looking for a Planning Manager (Customer & Deployment) to join our team in Johannesburg. What You’ll Be Responsible For

As the Planning Manager, you will be the key driver of our customer and deployment strategy, ensuring efficiency, minimizing costs, and maximizing service levels.

• Supply Chain Analytics: You’ll use data to identify opportunities for improvement and lead initiatives to streamline processes across the supply chain.
• People Management: You will lead a team of four, focusing on their development, providing training, and ensuring effective succession planning.
• Transport & Order Management: You’ll manage primary transport, track KPIs with third-party providers, and optimize customer orders to reduce costs and maintain high service levels.
• Deployment Planning: You’ll be responsible for minimizing stock-outs, maximizing service levels, and ensuring that our DCs and factories operate efficiently without exceeding capacity.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or Industrial Engineering and a minimum of 10 years of experience in deployment and customer DC planning. You must have proven experience in managing teams, strong analytical skills, and advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
