Are you a meticulous and detail-oriented finance professional looking to make a real impact? Desmond Tutu Health Foundation is seeking a Finance Administrator to join our team in Woodstock on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This is a unique opportunity to use your skills to support vital research and prevention work in HIV and related infections.

What You’ll Be Doing:

As a Finance Administrator, you’ll be the backbone of our financial operations, ensuring everything runs smoothly across multiple sites. Your key responsibilities include:

• Financial Processing & Support: You’ll be responsible for processing all purchases and assets, uploading requests in SAP, and ensuring correct ledger allocations.
• Travel & Logistics: You’ll manage staff travel and logistics, including booking flights and accommodations.
• Reconciliation & Reporting: You will reconcile and allocate shared costs, manage asset registers, and provide monthly status reports to your team.
• Training & Compliance: You’ll help train project staff on purchasing policies and procedures, ensuring all documentation is filed correctly and in compliance with our standards.

Who We’re Looking For:

The ideal candidate has a National Diploma in Accounting or Finance and a minimum of 3 years of experience in a finance and accounting environment. You must be proficient in Microsoft Office and have at least 2 years of experience working with SAP or a similar financial accounting system. Your high level of accuracy, problem-solving skills, and attention to detail will be key to your success.
