What You’ll Be Doing

The purpose of this role is to provide new and existing clients with professional financial advice, planning, and products. Your main goal is to build long-term relationships that foster loyalty and generate ongoing business, all while operating in a compliant and ethical manner.

Key responsibilities include:

• Growing the business: Work toward set targets for revenue generation and activity quotas, promoting the Sanlam brand while always treating customers fairly.
• Networking and prospecting: Generate new business through networking, prospecting, social media marketing, and turning existing relationships into new opportunities.
• Client consultations: Conduct comprehensive fact-finding sessions, perform financial needs analyses, and provide sound financial advice to build balanced portfolios for your clients.
• Client service: Ensure all interactions are ethical and professional, providing excellent, value-added service to retain clients and build a trusted relationship.
• Reporting: Monitor and document all client activities, issued business, and revenue on a weekly and monthly basis.

What Will Make You Successful

To thrive in this role, you’ll need a Grade 12 qualification, and if registered with the FSCA for more than 24 months, you must have successfully completed the FAIS “Fit and Proper” requirements and the Regulatory Examination.
