We’re looking for a Community Operations Manager to join our team in the West Rand, reporting to Fidelity ADT’s Gauteng division. The Role 🔍

As the Community Operations Manager, you will be the key to our local community strategy, working hand-in-hand with the Branch Manager. You’ll be responsible for all operational functions within the branch, with a primary focus on growth, customer satisfaction, and proactive security measures. This is a mid-to-senior level position that requires a hands-on approach and a commitment to making a difference.

What You’ll Be Doing: 📝

• Strategic Leadership: Develop and continuously refine a proactive security strategy, including patrols, joint operations with local police, and visibility drives. You’ll analyze crime trends to create a data-driven plan that reduces crime in your area.
• Stakeholder Engagement: Build strong working relationships with key figures in the SAPS (South African Police Service) and CPF (Community Policing Forum), and be the go-to person for solving crime incidents.
• Customer Service Excellence: Ensure our media channels, such as WhatsApp groups, are managed efficiently to provide prompt feedback to clients. You’ll personally attend serious crime incidents to offer support and assistance.
• Team Management: Work with training resources to ensure all reaction officers and security guards are trained in proactive security approaches. You’ll also manage daily operations, including reports, HR processes, and vehicle fleet management.
• Growth and Accountability: You’ll be responsible for the overall growth and performance of your area, continuously monitoring key metrics and making data-driven decisions to achieve targets.

Are You the Perfect Fit? ✅

We’re looking for a candidate with a strong background in security and management. The ideal person for this role will have:

• A Senior Certificate or equivalent, with a post-matric qualification in general management being a plus.
• A minimum of 3 years of mid-management experience.
• A valid Grade B PSIRA Certificate and a firearm competency for business purposes.
• A valid driver’s license for at least two years.
• Strong computer skills, especially with MS Office and advanced Excel.
• Excellent behavioral competencies such as integrity, business acumen, and a focus on effective team building.
