The Opportunity

As the IT Digital Manager, you’ll be a key player in our IT Digital team, managing the financial reporting systems and general ledgers that are the backbone of our operations. This isn’t just about maintenance; it’s about innovation. You will research, design, and implement new solutions, ensuring the integrity and accuracy of our financial data.

This is a hybrid role based in Randburg, giving you the flexibility to balance remote work with in-person collaboration.

What You’ll Be Doing:

• Leading with Impact: You’ll lead less complex projects and support highly complex ones, ensuring we deliver high-quality solutions on time and within scope. You’ll be the person who coordinates different teams, facilitates user acceptance testing, and provides training to ensure smooth transitions.
• Maintaining Our Core Systems: You’ll be responsible for the timely creation and maintenance of master data on our financial systems, playing a crucial role in keeping our operations running smoothly.
• Empowering Our Users: You will provide essential guidance and support to users, managing access and security on finance systems. You’ll be the go-to person for queries, ensuring our teams have the tools they need to succeed.
• Building Strong Connections: You’ll build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, understanding their business requirements and keeping them informed about changes and potential risks.
• Driving Efficiency: You’ll constantly review and improve processes to boost efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance overall productivity.

Are You the Right Fit?

We’re looking for someone with a passion for problem-solving and a solid financial and technical background. To thrive in this role, you should have:

• A B Degree in Commerce or an Advanced Diploma in Accounting
• An Advanced Diploma/B Tech in Information Technology (NQF Level 7)
• 5–8 years of experience in banking, finance, and financial systems
• Exceptional interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Strong problem-solving abilities and experience with system life cycle management
