Are you a strategic financial professional with a passion for driving growth and a knack for complex corporate transactions? Senwes, a leader in the agricultural sector, is seeking a Senior Business and Financial Analyst (Level 1) to join our team in Klerksdorp.

This is a key management role where you will be at the forefront of identifying, analyzing, and executing high-impact corporate projects, including mergers and acquisitions, strategic investments, and major expansions. What You’ll Be Doing

As the Senior Business and Financial Analyst, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of Senwes and its group of companies.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Leading Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A): You will manage the entire deal process, from origination and valuation to due diligence, negotiation, and implementation.
• Developing Financial Models: You’ll create detailed valuation models and financial forecasts to evaluate new business opportunities and optimize current business structures.
• Conducting Feasibility Studies: You will assess new business opportunities through in-depth financial and feasibility studies, analyzing market conditions and industry trends.
• Driving Transaction Designs: You will research and develop new channels for our products and services, identify opportunities to enhance profits, and investigate new markets to support the Group’s strategy.
• Providing Business Intelligence: You will monitor competitors, perform benchmark analyses, and stay informed on industry trends to generate deal ideas and identify risks.
• Managing Projects: You’ll lead corporate finance projects from inception to completion, working with multiple teams and stakeholders.

What We’ll Need from You

We are looking for a highly qualified and experienced professional who is ready to take on a leadership role.

Key Requirements:

• Qualifications: A BCom in Finance, Business Sciences, or Economics (e.g., CGMA, CFA), a BCom in Accounting (CA(SA)), or an Engineering or Mathematics degree with a background in finance or business (e.g., MBA, CFA).
• Experience: At least 5 years of relevant experience in an agriculture, corporate, or business consultation environment. Experience in M&A, deal-making, lead advisory, or transaction services is highly recommended.

This is a permanent, mid-level position offering a market-related salary.
