Job Opportunity: Senior Human Resources Consultant at TTEC in Cape Town
TTEC, a global leader in customer experience, is seeking a talented Senior Human Resources Consultant to join their People and Culture team in Cape Town, South Africa. This role is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced HR professional, ideally with a background in the local Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) sector, to help shape people strategies and drive business success.
The People and Culture team at TTEC is a key strategic partner, focused on providing innovative solutions that positively impact business results and employee experience.
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Senior HR Consultant, you will act as a strategic partner to business leaders in South Africa. You’ll be responsible for:
- Strategic HR Partnership: Aligning people strategies with business goals to drive performance and engagement.
- Compliance and Legal: Serving as an expert on South African employment legislation, including the CCMA, and ensuring compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Change Management: Leading change management projects and implementing solutions that enhance the employee experience and improve profitability.
- Talent Initiatives: Supporting the execution of core HR programs, such as performance reviews and compensation planning, while customizing them for local needs.
- Cultural Ambassador: Fostering a positive, inclusive, and diverse work environment across multilingual and multicultural teams.
What You’ll Bring to Us
We are looking for a professional with:
- Extensive Legal Knowledge: Significant experience with South African employment legislation and a proven track record of handling matters with the CCMA.
- Industry Experience: Recent experience in a similar HR role, ideally within a BPO contact center environment.
- Leadership and Influence: The ability to coach leaders, build trusted relationships, and influence others through mentorship.
- Key Skills: Strong organizational development, project management, and change management skills, along with a high level of integrity and sound judgment.
Qualifications and Experience
- A Bachelor’s Degree.
- 5+ years of experience as an HR Business Partner or HR Manager supporting operations.
- Working knowledge of office software, online communication tools, and database technology.
