Your Strategic Role

As the Engineer, Cloud Networks, you will be the go-to technical expert for your domain. You will work across multiple business segments, ensuring our network solutions are not only robust but also aligned with our long-term strategic goals. Your work will be a mix of consultancy, design, and hands-on implementation.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Technical Leadership: Act as a Subject Matter Expert (SME), providing solutions and advice to the business on complex network problems.
• End-to-End Solutions: You’ll handle everything from facilitating a solution’s design to its final implementation, providing a complete end-to-end service.
• Project Oversight: Monitor projects throughout all phases to ensure compliance with design standards and business requirements, alerting leadership to any potential disconnects.
• Architectural Integrity: Ensure that project designs align with architectural principles, emphasizing reusable services and strategic technical capabilities.
• Mentorship: Provide support and guidance to junior staff, helping to develop the next generation of network professionals.

What We’re Looking For

The ideal candidate is a proactive and analytical individual with a deep understanding of IT infrastructure and a proven ability to lead and innovate.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: A First Degree in IT & Computer Sciences.
• Certifications: Professional certifications are crucial for this role, including CCNP, AWS Practitioner, and AWS Solution Architect Associate.
• Experience: Significant experience in IT infrastructure, with a proven track record of managing and controlling technical IT domain solutions in both project and production environments.
• Skills: In-depth knowledge of complex infrastructure problems, with the ability to deal with stakeholders at all levels of a large organization.
• Competencies: We value individuals who are great at interpreting data, exploring possibilities, and upholding standards while displaying strong communication skills.
