Lead Sales and Drive Growth: Become a Regional Sales Manager at RCL FOODS
Are you a strategic and results-driven sales leader with a passion for building relationships and a talent for developing teams? RCL FOODS, a South African food manufacturer with a portfolio of the country’s most-loved brands, is seeking a dedicated Regional Sales Manager to join our Food Division. This is an exciting, permanent opportunity based in Rustenburg, where you will play a pivotal role in driving our sales strategy and delivering strong financial results.
What You’ll Do
As a Regional Sales Manager, you will be a key leader in the Customer division, responsible for developing and implementing a winning sales strategy for your region. You’ll lead a regional sales team, build strong relationships with key customers, and ensure that our sales goals are not just met, but exceeded.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Sales Strategy & Management: Develop and execute a regional sales strategy, generate leads, negotiate contractual agreements, and ensure the national sales strategy is successfully implemented in your region.
- Customer Relationship Management: Maintain and expand our customer base by building and nurturing relationships with key customers. You’ll gain a deep understanding of their operations and trends to identify new opportunities.
- Team Leadership: Provide tactical and operational leadership to your regional team, guiding them toward meeting strategic objectives. You will also champion their training and development to build a future generation of leaders.
- Budget & Operations: Manage regional sales budgets, oversee stock availability and order processes, and track competitor activity to keep our business agile and competitive.
Who We’re Looking For
The ideal candidate is a proactive and strategic leader with a proven track record in sales management and a passion for growing what matters.
Essential Qualifications and Experience:
- Education: A Degree in management, business administration, and/or marketing.
- Experience: 5 to 8 years’ experience in a marketing and sales function, including coordinating sales teams and managing significant customer relationships.
- Driving: A valid Code EB driver’s license.
- Attributes: You must have strong leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills, with a focus on delivering strong financial results.
