Are you a meticulous, hardworking individual with a passion for creating a clean and hygienic work environment? The SANEDI (South African National Energy Development Institute) Energy Secretariat is looking for two dedicated Cleaners to join our team on a three-year fixed-term contract. This is an opportunity to be an essential part of our Sandton team, ensuring our facilities are always in a pristine and welcoming condition.

Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Cleaner at SANEDI, you will play a vital role in maintaining the high standards of cleanliness and hygiene across our designated areas. Your work is fundamental to creating a safe and pleasant environment for our entire team.

Key responsibilities will include:

• High-Standard Cleaning: Maintaining exceptional cleanliness and hygiene in all designated areas, including office spaces, kitchens, and restrooms.
• Support Services: Assisting with other complementary services as needed to ensure the smooth operation of our facilities.
• Knowledge and Skills: Applying your deep knowledge of housekeeping best practices and demonstrating excellent time management skills to complete all tasks efficiently.

Who We’re Looking For

The ideal candidates are motivated and flexible individuals with a keen eye for detail and a strong work ethic.

Essential Qualifications and Experience:

• Education: A minimum of Grade 12.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience performing similar functions in a corporate setting.
• Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, an ability to work under pressure, and a proactive, hardworking attitude. Basic computer literacy is also a requirement.

Preferred Qualifications:

• A certificate in hygiene would be a distinct advantage.
