EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY

Maendeleo Bank PIc commenced operations in September 2013 as a Regional Bank with its Headquarters at Luther House, Sokoine Drive – Dar es Salaam. The bank has four branches with over 1,300 agents across the country. It is the frst bank in Tanzania to be registered in Dar es Salaam Stock Exchange (DSE) from its inception through Enterprise Growth Market (EGM) window. In its efforts to expand and strengthen its operations, the Bank wishes to recruit self-motivated, result oriented and suitably qualified candidate to fill the following position.

MAENDELEO BANK IS HIRING:

VACANCY 1 :

CORPORATE AFFAIRS AND MARKETING OFFICER

QUALIFICATION:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Mass Communication, Public Relations, Business Administration, or a related discipline.
  • Postgraduate or professional certification (e.g., CIM, Digital Marketing, PR/Media Relations) is an added advantage).
  • 3-5 years of experience in a communications or marketing role within the banking or financial services sector.
  •  Proficiency in tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, social media analytics, and Google Workspace.

VACANCY 2 :

INVESTOR RELATIONS AND PERFORMANCE ANALYST MANAGER

QUALIFICATION

  • Must hold a professional accounting qualification: CPA (T) or ACCA, A bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or related discipline is required.
  • A master’s degree in finance and strategic management is an added advantage.
  • Formal certification in data visualization and graphic presentation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Adobe Illustrator is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in data analysis, financial reporting, or investor relations, preferably within the banking or financial services sector.
  • Strong background in financial forecasting, capital planning, and performance monitoring.
  • Familiarity with Tanzanian media and regulatory environment (e.g., BOT, TCRA, TRA, etc.).
